Roman Retreat En-suite Room

Very comfortable bed and private room. Positive: This was the most comfortable bed of all our hotel/Airbnb stays over a 3 week trip around Italy. We were exhausted from the flight and slept so well. We had complete privacy and only saw the owner maybe twice during our stay. We had 2 doors that closed off our private area. The location was about 25mins walk to the Colosseum. Negative: Not really a fault of the owner but I didn’t realise it was a share house and thought I had booked a private accommodation. It ended up not being a problem but we felt a bit awkward using the kitchen so we just stayed in our room. It was quite hot and there was no remote for the air conditioning (however we also didn’t bother to ask for it) we slept with the windows open which being on the main road was quite loud but the bed was so good and we’re were so exhausted the only thing that woke us up was the mosquitoes. Location is not what we expected it was a bit out of the way from everything. We would stay in a different location next time. However a quick taxi get you to where you need to go.

Positive: Очень вежливая хозяйка квартиры. Квартира просторная и чистая. Транспорт в аэропорт останавливается в одний минуте от квартиры. Идти до Колизея 10-15 минут тихими улочками. Нам очень понравилось!

Very clean, great location and friendly service. Positive: The apartment was very nicely furnished & clean. Also the location was great. The owner was very accommodating and even let us have a late check out. Negative: We weren’t made aware that there would be a live- in host who would be in and out. Even though she was lovely it wasn’t something that was made clear upon booking.

Positive: De locatie was erg mooi. Het Colosseum was nog geen kwartiertje lopen. Negative: Het appartement lag aan een drukke weg, hierdoor veel geluidsoverlast. Daarnaast ook geluidsoverlast van de buren, deze bleven tot een uur of twee ‘s nachts heel veel geluid maken. Het appartement rook niet fris, de lakens en handdoeken roken heel erg muf. Het was fijn om van te voren te weten dat er iemand anders ook in het appartement woont, hiervan waren wij niet op de hoogte.
