Prime Location Kensington Flat

Positive: Goed gelegen, schoon en basic appartement. Alles wat je nodig hoeft te hebben voor een stadsreis. Heerlijke douche en bed. Zelfs slaapbank sliep heerlijk. Alle faciliteiten naast de deur. We hadden enkele vragen tijdens ons verblijf, die vlot beantwoord werden door de host. Makkelijke self check in. Negative: Als je geen stadsgeluiden gewend bent, is de huiskamer (waar de slaapbank staat) gehorig. Geen toaster aanwezig.

The flat was neat, bright and modern. Loved the location. Positive: Location amazing. Close to the High Street Kensington tube station, Kensington palace and shops and buses. Would highly recommend. Negative: There was no drying up towel for the dishes. There was a dishwasher but no tablets were provided. The main bedroom mattress was not very comfortable. No wi-fi but we had brought e-sims do it wasn’t a problem.

Positive: I'm extremely disappointed to report that our stay at the above address was a complete disaster and significantly impacted our holiday. From the start, the narrow entrance and steep 40-step staircase posed a challenge with our luggage, nearly causing an injury. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a noisy street that disrupted our sleep due to the constant traffic. The poorly functioning air conditioning units exacerbated the issue, leaving us without rest for the entire 3-day stay. The apartment's design was also lacking, with one room having only a rail for hanging clothes instead of a closet, and the bathroom was cramped with a tiny sink. The shower's inconsistent temperature was another issue, and the lack of basic amenities like an ironing board, hair dryer, and courtesy water was noticeable. Furthermore, the apartment wasn't well-maintained, with a used toilet roll and no fresh supplies. The noise from the upstairs neighbors walking around also added to our discomfort.
