Stylish 1-Bed Flat in the Heart of Kensington

Positive: Le quartier avec ses commerces et sa proximité au métro. Le bâtiment qui est sécurisé et la décoration intérieure qui est chaleureuse. Negative: j'ai été surprise de la hauteur sous plafond de la chambre. Une personne d'1,80cm devrait incliner la tête me semble t'il. Un torchon ou du sopalin pour la cuisine aurait été approprié... rien pour se sécher les mains.

Lovely weekend, great location. Easy check-in, clean, warm and cosy. Shower needs updating and so does TV. Positive: Location was great and apartment was comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. Negative: Shower was awful. TV so small and not great. Cheap toiletries would have been better to no have any.

Very conveniently situated for walking to the RAH and arriving from South Kensington tube station. Positive: It was the perfect location to walk to the Royal Albert Hall, which was the main reason for choosing this apartment. Negative: When we arrived, there was a used towel on the floor of the shower room and one of the draws looked like the front was broken (it turned out to be just a loose draw … which most of them are in the bathroom unit). I had difficulty contacting the property at first, to rectify the problems (which was more distressing as I am 78 and my travel companion has mobility issues). The stairs were difficult to negotiate up to the bedroom, the hinge had broken on the bedside wardrobe door, there were stains on the headboard and the cooker had fused (I discovered on the last day). It didn’t seem like the apartment had been thoroughly checked before we arrived and so I was constantly worried about being charged extra for “damages” that we were not responsible for!
